I was in my mid-20s and fit, and started having back trouble from climbing in/out of the z with racing buckets. Also, having to squeeze in and out usually means you're rubbing on the seat covering, which tends to form wear marks quickly. That said, I have never been a fan of most aftermarket reclining seats either. Thus, I've chosen to retrofit oem seats from other cars, and I've been extremely pleased with the outcomes each time. One popular seat to swap in is the 350z seat, but that's far too wide of a seat for me so I've opted for fd rx7, s2k, gtr and subaru brz seats. They are all able to be modified to fit into our chassis and they provide an affordable and ergonomic upgrade for our dated seats.
